Truman and Barkley by Lorraine Clark
Truman and Barkley Are Moving!
After spending years on the road with their person driving semi truck over the road throughout the country, Truman and Barkley are about to start on a new adventure. They have relaxed at home base all winter and now are getting ready to move to a new house in a new area.
Their person has been going to school since January to train as a welder and will continue school this fall. A new house is coming to be placed on 3 ½ acres in western Nevada. The house will be home to the parents of their person so everyone will be together. This includes Truman and Barkley’s big sister dog Marley and 4 cats.
Truman and Barkley will have lots of room to run. A band of wild horses roams across the property and some fences will need to be put up. In Nevada much of the land is public land and wild horses along with other wildlife are free to roam. The law is if horses or other animals aren’t wanted on the land, fences must be put up to keep them out without harming any of them.
The move should be completed by the end of June. Watch for posts as progress is made on the new house. Truman and Barkley are ready for new adventures on their new place.
